prodigal son

Forgive me for it has been 2 months since my last blog.

I have reading a couple of my favourite blogs and like a kid who runs around after watching a superman film, or the way I drive after watching the Grand Prix for that matter, I have inspired to add a line or two to my blog. Not that anyone reads it by the way!

The last while has been good, work is going well, I have been healthy and my family is all well.

I guess it is because of this lack of imagination or ability to transfer occorances into writing that has rendered my blog so out of date!

Well on that note and all full of good intentions I'll sign off and send this off to the web.

Friday afternoon

Yay it's Friday afternoon, almost time to head off for the weekend. Th ewhole of this week I have been wanting to sleep in but have had to haul arse to get to work instead. Hmm also there is Rugby on in the morning so perhaps a couple of beers while watching that is an idea and then in the afternoon we are having some friends around for a bbq. Sunday is for golf and then it all to soon back here on Monday. Shit

Home time

Well time to head off home, A quick walk to try and get a bit in shape and then perhaps a cold beer (Tusker).

Plans

So I live and work pretty much in the centre of Africa, so to use this opportunity I have decided that if I get a new contract here I am going to do more, experience more and live more. To kick start that off I am going to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The highest mountain in Africa. So I am now digging around finding out what I can and seeing what equipment I will need. Things take time so this will only happen early on next year.

Virginity

No well for anyone brought here by the title I have sad news it is only my blogging virginity that is getting broken, the other type was lost years ago and pretty much without my remembering due to high alchohol consumptions.

Anyway I have this blog spot and have now written in it, now I guess it would be a good time to decide where it will go. So I'll post this and ponder taht.
